D & M Barnett provides a range of plant hire and construction services throughout Leicester, Rutland and the surrounding areas. We also specialise in the supply and construction of all types of fencing including domestic, agricultural and stock fencing.

Plant Hire

D & M Barnett offers a total in-house operation of 1 ton – 20-ton excavators, tractors and dump trailers, vibrating rollers, low loaders, hedge cutters, breakers, crushers, screeners and compactors. All operated plant comes with highly skilled and reliable CPCS trained operatives.

Driveways and Vehicle Accesses

We undertake projects that include block paving, driveway paving, tarmacadam laying, concrete and gravel. In addition, we construct vehicle accesses which can include dropped kerbs. D & M Barnett is on the “approved contractor” list for verge crossing for Leicestershire and Rutland County Councils.

Groundworks

D & M Barnett is proud to announce they have worked on an array of Groundwork projects throughout Leicestershire and Rutland including site clearance, muckaway, drainage systems, demolition, car parks, road construction, pond clearance and equestrian ménages. With an extensive range of modern plant and qualified CPCS operatives, all of our work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard that is within an acceptable budget.

Equestrian Ménages

D & M Barnett can help you turn virtually any site into an impressive equestrian facility. We are happy to provide advice on site clearance, levelling, drainage, fencing and membranes along with samples of finished surfaces.

Hedge Flailing

We carry out hedge flailing for a whole range of customers, ranging from large estates to pony paddock owners. We cut hedges using a Tractor with side arm flail. Around 80% of our Hedge Flailing each year is repeat business.
